How does ReceiptNudge read my receipts?+

Apple Vision OCR runs entirely on your device. The original image and parsed text stay on your phone unless you choose to export them.

What is Smart Scroll Capture?+

A capture mode for long receipts (Costco, Home Depot, restaurants). You slowly move the camera down the receipt and the app automatically captures sharp sections, runs OCR on each one, and stitches them into a single searchable receipt. It counts as one scan, not one per section.

Where are my receipts stored?+

In a local SwiftData store inside the app. We do not upload your receipts to a server.

Are return windows guaranteed?+

No. Return policies vary by retailer, region, country, item category, and condition. ReceiptNudge shows best-effort estimates so you do not miss windows. Always confirm with the retailer before acting.

How do Price Drop Alerts work?+

If you mark an item to Track Price Drops, ReceiptNudge periodically compares the price you paid to the current market price during the retailer's price-match window. If a drop is detected, you get a nudge.

Are Price Drop Alerts available everywhere?+

Only where retailer coverage is supported. Price Drop Alerts depend on per-retailer data and may not be available for every store or country. If an item shows in Possible Savings, we have found a candidate drop - verify against the retailer's current price before requesting a match.

How do I cancel my subscription?+

Open the iOS Settings app, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions, then ReceiptNudge.

How do I delete my data?+

Delete individual receipts inside the app, or uninstall to remove all on-device data. For a complete deletion request, email support@aurabionics.com.
